This is a picture of Remus winning the stud dog class at the 1998 National Specialty. He finished his championship at the age of 9 months with 3 majors, and was a multiple Group Placer in very limited showing. He earned a Judge's Award of Merit at the same National that he won the Stud Dog class. We are very proud of him and his accomplishments!
Remus has run in a couple of ASFA trials, and has 12 points towards his Field Championship. He also has a leg on his JC. Remus is CERF certified (with no vitreous degeneration), OFA excellent hips, thyroid normal, patellas are sound, cardiac cleared via echo and he is seizure-free at 10 years of age. Remus is pictured above in the BOB ring at Ravenna 1997, the day after the National Specialty. We were honored that he made it down to the final 6 dogs considered for BOB/BOS in a very large Supported entry. He loves to show!
Just so you can see that he has held up pretty well over time, above is a picture of Remus at over 6 years of age. He wasn't too happy about being awakened from his nap to pose!
